Dóra Maurer in conversation with Sabine Schaschl

Director Sabine Schaschl in conversation with Hungarian artist Dóra Maurer. Find out more about this avant-gardist’s work, how her exhibition at Museum Haus Konstruktiv came about, and her bond with Switzerland.

This talk with the artist took place on the day before the exhibition opened at the museum and was recorded without an audience. The digital artist talk in German with English subtitles is now released for everyone – on the website and social media channels.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT ... VOL I-IV

The curatorial team in conversation with the Spotlight section’s invited artists: Alexander Bühler, Guillaume Pilet, Sam Porritt and Ana Strika

In the collection exhibition RESET, four Swiss artists are focused on. For the Spotlight section, they were given free rein to occupy one room each on the 5th floor of the museum and to exhibit newly produced works. On the basis of their positions, we demonstrate the direction in which Museum Haus Konstruktiv’s collection could be extended in the future.

In the four-part series of digital talks In the Spotlight..., the artists converse with the curatorial team about their oeuvres and the process of creating their latest work, which was produced in the context of the collection exhibition at Museum Haus Konstruktiv.

The talks were made publicly accessible here on our website, YouTube and Instagram:

So Far So Close
Things we want to know from ...

In a time of distancing rules and compulsory mask-wearing, Museum Haus Konstruktiv would like to overcome distances. In our series So Far So Close – Things we want to know from ..., questions can be submitted via digital and analogue channels, to then be addressed and answered in artist talks. Each of these talks is held at Museum Haus Konstruktiv, where there are a limited number of seats for an audience. For all those who cannot attend, the talks are recorded and made available online.
