A modern café, conceived by Zurich architects Fuhrimann/Hächler, was added to the museum in 2007. Together with the wall painting Easy Heavy III (2013) specially realized for this location in 2014, and the Eye to Eye (2013) series of paintings by Swiss artist Claudia Comte, this produces a place to linger, inviting visitors enjoy lunch or refreshments, to read, or to work online. Welcome are also guests who do not visit the exhibitions.
Currently you can enjoy soups, salads, hot toasts, hummus with pita bread or cakes, as well as a carefully selected assortment of beverages. During warmer months the courtyard is open. The café offers you free WLAN, daily and weekly newspapers and art magazines.
The Café Museum Haus Konstruktiv is selected as one of the best local shops by June’s Choice.
