In 2021, the Zurich Art Prize, awarded annually by Museum Haus Konstruktiv and Zurich Insurance Group Ltd, goes to the Swiss-Tunisian artist Sonia Kacem (b. 1985 in Geneva, lives and works in Amsterdam)

Florin Granwehr

Artist Florin Granwehr left behind a multi-layered oeuvre which, in addition to several realized art-in-architecture projects and sculptures in public spaces, also includes a wealth of sketches, models and drawings that have rarely seen the light of day.

Dóra Maurer
Minimal Movements, Shifts, 1970–2020

Museum Haus Konstruktiv is the first museum in Switzerland to dedicate a solo exhibition to Dóra Maurer of Hungary. This retrospective solo show was realized in close cooperation with the artist.

295 prepared dc-motors, 39 kg wood, 825 cardboard boxes 35 x 32.5 x 32.5 cm

Haus Konstruktiv’s solo exhibition on Zimoun is the largest ever dedicated to this Bernese artist in a Swiss museum. It presents two immersive room and sound installations, which the artist has adapted to the venue’s architectural givens.
