Opening hours & information

Exhibition changeover: The museum remains closed until
February 9, 2022.
Free admission on the opening day: February 10, 11 am – 8 pm.

As of February 11, the regular opening hours apply again:

Tue / Thu–Sun 11 am to 5 pm
Wed 11 am to 8 pm
Mon closed

Holidays: on Good Friday (15.4.), Easter Sunday (17.4.), Easter Monday (18.4.) the museum is open; on Labor Day (1.5.) the museum is closed

Safety plan
The safety mask requirement is applied at Museum Haus Konstruktiv for visitors aged 12 and over. Visitors aged 16 and over additionally require a Covid certificate (vaccinated/recovered) and ID. For us, the safety of the visitors and staff have top priority. Please note the safety measures, when visiting the museum >>>

For museum visitors, two parking spaces are available on Selnaustrasse. Parking in the courtyard is not permitted.

Barrier-free access

Museum Haus Konstruktiv is accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who need to avoid stairs. The museum has one wheelchair for visitors to borrow free of charge. Free admission for necessary accompanying person. Guide dogs are welcome. Our staff is pleased to assist you at all times.

The modern café is a place to linger and enjoy refreshments. Welcome are also guests who do not visit the current exhibitions. The café offers you free WLAN and newspapers. >>>



Temporarily closed

The museum’s top floor with the unique exposed metal structure from the 1940s, offers an reference library – with literature providing an overview of constructivist, concrete, and conceptual art, with exhibition catalogs, monographs on artists, and reference works on art history.
