Zurich’s Long Night of Museums: Sat 1 September, 19.00–02.00

CURRENT! IMI KNOEBEL

Until 2 September 2018

A comprehensive solo show on four floors. Imi Knoebel, who attended Joseph Beuys’s legendary class in the 1960s, is one of the world’s most famous geometric abstract artists. When he was still a student, he created Room 19, probably his most important early work, which will also serve as the starting point of the exhibition at Museum Haus Konstruktiv.

CURRENT! TILL VELTEN

Until 2 September 2018

Till Velten explores in his latest art project the theme of dementia and the phenomenon of forgetting in the charged environment of art that is primarily based on mental creativity and planability. What if conceptual artists were to forget? Velten presents his piece Wenn die kognitive Ordnung zerbricht (When Cognitive Order Collapses).
