The Kinder-Kultur-Akademie Zurich KKAZ is a unique cultural education project for children and young people organized by Museum Haus Konstruktiv. Each KKAZ semester, the participants discover a new and exciting theme and are given the opportunity to look behind the scenes of various cultural institutions in the fields of music, theatre, visual arts and dance. ogether they develop their own creative work. At the end of the semester course, the children and young people receive a personal KKAZ diploma in recognition of their creative achievements and their courage to develop and realise their own ideas.

Next semester, KKAZ for 7-9 year olds will spend eight Wednesday afternoons at OFFCUT Zurich, KULTURAMA Museum des Menschen and Museum Haus Konstruktiv. The group for 10-13 year olds spends three Saturdays discovering Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Radioschule Klipp+Klang and Schauspielhaus Zurich. During KKAZ, participants will get a unique behind-the-scenes look and become researchers, artists, actors and explorers themselves.

Yesterday is tomorrow

In the coming semester we will revive the past - but in a very special way! Together we will create something new out of old materials. We will be inspired by the exhibition at Haus Konstruktiv, go on an exciting search for special materials at OFFCUT Zurich and explore the connections between yesterday and tomorrow at KULTURAMA Museum des Menschen.

Room Whispers

In autumn we will go on a creative voyage of discovery into the world of sounds and stories. With KKAZ we will explore the exhibition rooms of Museum Haus Konstruktiv, invent our own stories and set them to music in collaboration with tRadioschule Klipp+Klang. At Schauspielhaus Zurich we will explore how sounds unfold in space and what stories they can tell. Together we develop scenes and bring these sound stories to the stage. In the process, we will discover how sounds shape spaces, what stories lie within them, and what role we play in these sound worlds.
